Metatheke Software, a corporate spin-off of the University of Aveiro, was established in July 2007 with the support of the NEOTEC initiative from the Innovation Agency (AdI), which promotes the creation of new technological enterprises based on ICT.

Our corporate vision of adapting technological solutions for the business sector, along with our extensive experience in developing digital content management solutions, were the decisive factors for constituting the company.

During these past years, we have worked with various national and international institutions in the design, development and deployment of digital content management platforms, closely monitoring the customers’ needs in every stage of the process and creating innovative solutions internally or through our network of partners.

Our services include the development of integrated platforms to manage and store digital media content, optimized indexing algorithms, multilingual search algorithms and semantic classification.
